Acquiring My Art
If you would like to be informed about information on my original paintings or new prints and merchandise the best way to be notified is via my email subscription. I spend most of my time making larger works for upcoming gallery exhibitions, but I do my best to create smaller work for my shop on a weekly basis. The pins and t-shirts come at a slower rate. Paper Heart at Copro Gallery
I have been working the last few months on paintings for my show at Copro Gallery titled Paper Heart. With this work I continue to expand on personal thoughts about my tendency to want to hide away and be unseen, while also wanting to break free and express myself loudly while knowing what stands between the two feelings are as thin as a piece of paper.
The exhibition will run from Saturday, August 8th to 29th, you may want to contact the gallery beforehand at 310-829-2156 if you are in the area and interested in seeing the art in person.

Lack of Blue at Feinkunst Krüger
I have a few original paintings that will be on view at Feinkunst Krueger Gallery in Hamburg, Germany. This group of paintings is based on a time of my youth when things were much more simple, though also more dangerous and could have led me to a rough life. I don’t feel like I’m finished expressing this topic so you will most likely see more in this vein in the future.

More from the gallery:
Every year in December, Daddy graces us to say hello and to present us the most beautiful works from the world of Lowbow Art and Pop Surrealism. Daddy is now in his teens at the age of 14 and has a few taps in his head. Will he still be able to present us Europe's most beautiful and biggest Low Brow exhibition this year? We think so! Because he has invited 34 international artists to present their works from the 1st to the 21st of December.
14 years ago Feinkunst Krüger was the first to admire Europe's most beautiful and biggest Low Brow exhibition. Created and curated by the Hamburg artist Heiko Müller and the gallery owner Ralf Krüger, "Don’t Wake Daddy" has long since established itself and conquered the hearts of many art fans. After the 10-year anniversary with a big party and a nice catalog, things are going on and on in search of new talents.

Sign of Life at Copro Gallery
I have new artwork that will be available and on view at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica, California. Sign of Life opens on Saturday, August 10th and runs until August 31st.
Over the last few years when I would lay down to sleep at the end of the day the first thoughts that would run through my head were about death. I’m not a morbid person, nor am I afraid of death. The thoughts were typically quick, then I’d do my best to understand what they meant, but would usually fall asleep before even coming close to an answer. They went on for a little over two years and I noticed just a few months back that they went away. With hindsight and looking at it altogether I took it as a signal to rethink how I express my feelings through art. Most of what I am saying in these paintings is personal and revolve around fear, confusion and the fragility of life – about not having answers and trying to move beyond these ominous feelings. As dark as it all may sound, it has shed a positive light on how I create. In most of this work I have also reintroduced the application of typography as well as the usage of multiple panels in a painting; elements that I enjoyed early on, yet had faded with time.
If you have any questions about the work itself please feel free to reply. For inquiries on purchasing please contact the gallery at CoproGallery@live.com or call 310-829-2156
Say What You Mean
I just completed a new painting titled Say What You Mean, which is a personal painting describing my issue with just being up front and open with people throughout my life. I have always been better with images than words and so here I take a step to recognize the issue and move forward knowing that it’s ok to say whatever I feel.
Description: As an artist, say it as you do. With paint, write it down, let it fly off the cuff because it was your first thought and you probably meant it. Really mean it too because you are only here for a short while.
You can find prints up at the shop.
Feels Good
Opening next Saturday, September 8th, I will have a new painting titled Feels Good in the 13th Annual Blab! Group Show curated by Monte Beauchamp at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. You can find prints of this painting in my shop. I have also added two smaller prints (Ok and Life Cycle).
