ABOUT JASON LIMON

Jason Limon’s work is an intriguingly cohesive narrative stitched together from a lifetime of observation. From growing up in a large, creative San Antonio family to a lifelong obsession with the intricate textures of the world around him, these formative threads are visible across his body of work. Here, he blends a natural technical discipline with the soulful curiosity of a contemporary painter.

His signature aesthetic is heavily influenced by a fascination with "the things people leave behind," specifically the muted colors and hand-drawn typography of vintage product packaging. Using a palette inspired by mid-century paper textures and faded industrial tones, Jason creates a dreamland where skeletons go about their tasks with charming, purposeful determination.

For Jason, these figures act as unidentifiable vessels for shared human stories, exploring the delicate balance between life and death. As he continues to evolve his practice, his work remains a "visual diary" of the subconscious, tugging at the connective fibers between the innocent wonder of his subjects and the tapestry of our own reality.

In addition to his visual art, Jason collaborates with his brother to create electronic music under the name Mausoleum Bouncehouse. You can find that work on YouTube and all music streaming platforms.
